Peru Expedition 2026: Ñaupa Huaca

In the month of June 2026, I travelled with One Million Earthkeepers to Peru, together with my family of Earthkeepers. A journey with the intention to connect with the Inca Ceq’ui System, the local communities of Incan descent and bring ourselves into ayni with the land, waters, huacas and peoples we would encounter, but mostly, to bring our beauty, love and powers there to serve the healing and re-empowerment of the energy system. This system is a web of huacas - places of power - distributed throughout the entire Inca empire that functioned as a grid to energetically govern the realm.

In the this period I will share some of my experiences in Peru. Stories about the old places of power and temples we visited, what I sensed and received there as information about these places of power and their function for life as we know it.

Ñaupa Huaca: The Place of The Ancients

The three chairs of Ñaupa Huaca.

I looked so much forward to visiting Ñaupa Huaca. In the years prior to my journey to Peru, I have been receiving lots of information and energy experiences related to very old powers of the universe, primordial energies we call them or Powers of Creation. In the Quechua language, Ñaupa means ancient and Huaca means place of power. This site is connected to the Ancient Ones, the ones from primordial times and energies that relate to the making of this world.

The stairs leading up to Ñaupa Huaca

Ñaupa Huaca, or Ñaupa Iglesia, iglesia meaning church in Spanish, is situated alongside a road leading from Cusco to Ollantaytambo. We travelled there on our way to the known city of Hayna Picchu and Machu Picchu, therefore it felt a bit in the middle of nowhere when we stopped alongside a regular road. No great valleys, old roads or structures that gave recognition of an ancient place residing there. We took a path leading into an opening between mountains where the stairs started, leading up to the entrance of Ñaupa Huaca.

These days were the first of our stay in Peru, so the effects of the high altitude were still very present. We had to walk up these steep stairs and it took us quite some time to reach the entrance. It was part imagination, part expectation and part energetic power, that made the arrival very impressive to me. The triangular entrance to the space and seeing the seats with my own eyes felt very special.

When you arrive up there, there is a fl are still a couple of steps to make to enter the sacred area. In that space there are practically two spots that meet the eye:

  1. Towards the valley, carved out into the stone, you see three seats. The carvings around the seats are part of the chakana symbol, very known in the Inca tradition and representative for the multiple worlds a sacred practitioner travels into to retrieve wisdom or power.

  2. Up into the cave on the right, there is an alcove, chiseled out into the stone.

The triangular stone with the entrance on the left.

Just like my experiences with the Tombe di Giganti in Sardinia, Italy, and many other sacred sites, the first thing you can sense is whether the energy of a place goes up or it goes down. Where do you feel the energy is carrying you towards, the skies or the earth? You can even do it sensing the pictures I place in these stories, when you tune into them, where does the energy go?

We visited Ñaupa Huaca twice. The first time we held initiation ceremonies, given to us by Roel Fredrix and Jacomina Bazen from One Million Earthkeepers. It was beautiful to receive these gifts in this place, to be able to connect to this ancient site and receive these powerful energy transmissions from the lineage.

The second time we visited Ñaupa Huaca was to receive additional wisdom and information about our work there, about our soul’s journey or whatever the sources connected to Ñaupa Huaca wanted to convey to us. This second time took place after we had visited Ollantaytambo and the old city of Haynu Picchu and Machu Picchu, that some call Kunturkancha, and it felt very different as if we were different human beings. I felt so much richer with experiences during this journey, that actually only gave a 3 day difference in between the two visits, but with so many beautiful gifts that we had received. Every day miracles happened, insights arrived, transformations took place.

The Universal Mountains

One of the most memorable moments for me during these visits, was the connection with the universal mountain beings. In the Andean tradition, the Apukuna hold a big place of honour and sacredness. Apu means ‘honoured one’ and kuna indicates plural in Quechua language and this often refers to the sacred mountains in Andean tradition which are considered great powers of wisdom and knowledge in this world. There are many Apus in Peru, not all mountains are Apus though. Every Apu has a certain amount of power: some are in service to the local area, others for the region or continent and then there are the Teqse Apus, those that have a global and cosmic purpose.

Before it was my turn to receive initiations, I meditated and a door appeared in front of me with an elder indicating I should enter. I entered into a hallway with many many doors and I was guided through one that brought me on a snowy mountain top in a high elevated place. I arrived on Mount Kailash, a sacred mountain in Tibet. There, I received various messages and the journey continued to many other great mountains in the world. At a certain point it finished and the Major Mountains gathered as brothers in front of me as they have done so before in other ceremonies, and they announced this was part 1 of the journey to connect me to the Teqse Apukuna.

By the time I came out of this journey, I felt I was already done with the day. What a glorious gift this was, such beautiful encounters, so much power and wisdom shared. I was grateful and humbled beyond belief.

Seated in one of the chairs of Ñaupa Huaca

The Cosmic Chairs

But the day continued, and it was my turn to receive the initiations and to take seat in the three sacred chairs of Ñaupa Huaca. These three chairs are very special, if you allow them to be.

What I received as information is that they function as entryways to higher wisdom. As I said earlier in this story, you can feel the energy of a place, where it brings you. Here, the energy launches you up. You can call them portals or spiritual launchpads or doorways, when you take seat, you can travel with your consciousness into high energetic spaces with also the presence there of high frequency beings, beings that carry less density as we know on earth for example (the more dense you are, the more material or earthly you are).

Ñaupa Huaca has been on earth for a very long time. I saw images from before it was carved by the Inca culture, how people already gathered here to receive wisdom, to communicate with otherworldly beings who would share their guidance to us on earth. And that was also why this energy was rooted in this place, to function as a gateway to receive information from cosmic sources, sources that aren’t very strange to us when you have had experiences yourself that indicate or explain and make logic, that we are much more than just humans. We are just carrying this humanseat now, temporarily.

The second time I took seat in the centre chair, I was launched up again and I was shown my lineages. Yes, I carry Frisian lineage in the blood of my earthly family of this lifetime, but like all of us I have lived many other lives and I was shown the lineages from other times. And so I visited these places and I was fulfilled with memory, love, fondness and a feeling of coming home everytime I would enter again the city of my lineage.

The Mirror Portal where I received the 2nd initiation.

The Mirror Portal

Where the Cosmic Chairs have an energy that launch you up, the Mirror Portal brings you sideways or forward. A very different energy but with more or less the same effect, to bring you into a place with more vision, wisdom, insights, knowledge and perspective on reality.

Both during the first visit and the second visit I entered into the alcove on my knees, placing my forehead against the cold dark stone. It is a way to travel, connecting your third eye to a place of power. And yet it also brings distractions, the cold stone, sometimes roughly uncomfortable or even painful, and I am really sensitive to smells so I get all kinds of odours in my nose from the stones, from the people that came there before me or from the offerings in the altar. It took me a while to enter into sensing state and allow my mind to wonder, but then, I got launched forward.

I travelled forward into a tunnel, spinning, swirling and rotating, speeding forward, until I entered a place that gave me an exceptional wonderful feeling. Being there instantly felt so beautiful. I cannot describe properly why, but it was like stepping into a place where beauty, peace and love were just the state I was in, in a love-bubble, without any condition or need for it to be there. I saw a large boulder in front of me and felt the urge to peek around it as if there was something to see. In slow-motion my view moved sideways, extremely slowly I got to see bit by bit what there was around the corner.

The symbolic image of Viracocha

Gently, I started to see the first steps of a stone stairway leading up. Bit by bit it was revealed to me, the stony steps leading up to a platform, and there I saw sitting, god, Viracocha, in the typical sacred costume of the Inca with the sun crown on his head. But I wasn’t so much struck by their image or the idea of meeting them, but I was simply completely overwhelmed by the deep deep love, reverence, beauty - there are hardly any right words that can capture the entirety of the feeling I felt. A complete and wholesome feeling of allness, consisting from the totality of love, sacredness and total fulfilment.

I received messages about my task, about me and who I am, about what I am occupied with, messages of support, guidance, direction and care. I was so completely overwhelmed with gratitude, tears streaming down my eyes, cheeks and chin. Total beauty, total love. After this, I continued travelling, into the darkest areas of the earth to the highest levels of the heavens, and everywhere I met beings with messages for me. The profoundness was astounding, like living the movie Alice in Wonderland within 3 minutes time.

Both the first and the second time gave me similar experiences on both the Cosmic Chairs as the Mirror Portal, up and forward I went. Both times I was given information about myself, about life, about the world, clarity on the tasks I have been given or additional information or perspectives. Or simply, a lot of love and care for my beingness here. Truly a beautiful gift <3
