Scotland Expedition 2025 - Day 1

Today I arrived at the northern coast and went down to the beach. I was impressed by everything; the salty smell of the sea, the powerful wind blowing me backwards, the sound of the waves bashing against the black cliff and the deep feeling of being ‘there’. After what seemed such a long time, I have arrived at the northern tip of Scotland overlooking the water that bridges the Orkney Isles with the mainland.

Why am I here?

Let’s have a small recap why I am here in the first place. My visit isn’t random nor a touristic visit. During the first Templekeeper Expedition in 2023, we closed the week with a destiny tracking. We had uncovered so much information, what was next? What was the purpose of all this information, of all that we received? We collectively tracked the future - tracking is what shamans or channellers do, tracking traces that have been left behind and we can follow, the information provided by spirit - and we felt we had to connect our findings in Sardinia with other places like Egypt, Scotland, Indonesia and Mexico.

I was literally shown the map of Scotland with a finger pointing out the northern tip. Only after consulting online maps I learned about Orkney and the stone circles that were present there. I was guided to this place, instructed to first visit the northern coast to connect the mainland with the islands.

I have seen these cliffs in my mind’s eye, having seen myself sitting on the edge and connecting to Orkney. In my mind today, I wondered what I was supposed to do, what was asked of me. But of course, these things aren’t done with the mind nor initiated by it. Hence it was a worthwhile afternoon, transitioning myself from the holiday with my family that I had prior to this expedition, into connecting to these lands and waters and the work that was waiting for me.

The moment I walked up the beach I started praying. It came to me automatically somehow. Before this moment I was wondering with my mind: should I open sacred space? Shall I do a despacho ceremony and make an offering? By the time I walked down the cliff and onto the beach, the presence of the earth and sea were so powerful, I stopped thinking and stepped into sacredness: muoder ertha and muoder muor, pachamama y mamacocha. I called upon all spirits of nature, the spirit of the place and all living beings, the archetypes of the different worlds, the elements, the mountains, the ancestors, the stars, sun and moon and the higher dimensional beings. All came and connected. I cried for the beauty of all these energies I felt, in me and in the place where I was.

And then a dog ran beside me and woke me from my prayer.

On the horizon the Orkney Islands

The owner of the bed and breakfast, Phil, came to accompany me, and showed me the seals in the bay. Since 2018 they have a seal shelter here and provide care for seal pups that get separated from their parents. He told me about the orcas hunting them, the whaleshark and whales you often see in these parts. I felt so much excitement! The dogs darted around us playing and running, staring at the sea and the floating seals sleeping with their noses just above the water. So much sealife and beautiful seabeings in these parts!

After, I took a scary path along the cliff where I had beautiful views on the bay, the cliffs and the Orkney isles. When I connected with Orkney, my heart opened and I softened allover. Where this coast felt strong, rough and powerful, Orkney feels very soft and gentle for some reason. One I am undoubtedly to discover coming days.

I called in all these energies to bridge the isles and the mainland. Fusing these energies. Calling upon the waters to connect the energies of the temples and the big mountain peaks of this world, and be the important conductor of energy on the earth’s grid.

I finished my day with a small offering of the lavender leaves from my garden in Sardinia that I had brought, blowing in blessings for the land and her people and the connection to the sea and isles, and offered them to the water.
